Jackie Denning has been an active artist since graduating from the textile program at K.U. in 1991.
She has been making her own hand designed screened t-shirts and art projects consistently since then.

Her career has taken many turns which have included painting murals in homes and restaurants, commission projects for personal and business and plenty of pet portraits. She has lived in New York and Florida.

She participates in all types of shows, whether solo or group, gallery or café.

She feels the last step of an art project is the one where people look at it.  It drives her crazy to have art locked up in a closet. “It can’t breathe!”

She has embarked on a 6 month gallery project since June in Kansas City.  Gallery111 is an experiment on group shows with visionary themes and is located in the West Bottoms in K.C.  Gallery111.org

She continues to create block prints of Kansas City and very proud to call it her home.

Jackie offers art classes in the gallery and is available for commissions.
