Even as a child, Tim spent hours of playtime dreaming of owning his own business one day. He was a thoughtful and sensitive boy - taking a flower to a beloved teacher, always happy to provide a sincere compliment and a smile. This made him a common teacher's pet...and a frequent target for bullies.

Finding his forte in life was a forty year struggle for Tim. He tried hiding his creative talents for fear of social rejection. Through spiritual seeking and insight, he more freely expressed the vulnerable but honest core of himself - what he thought of as his "sappy side".

The result is The Bird Sings.

For Tim, creating cards is the simplest and most joyous part of life. Through this expression, his childhood dream of owning his own business has become a reality.

It is Tim's hope that through his story, many others will be inspired to fulfill their own natural purpose in life and learn that they, too, can support themselves doing what they love.
