Monica Hansen
Monica is a nurse/massage therapist with a passion and wonderful gift for photography. She has been capturing the unique spirit of people, animals, and flowers with her camera for over 20 years. Flowers are her true love and a favorite subject of her work. She is a “gardeness” and master gardener, as well as an artist, and flowers speak to her, as they do to all of us, if we open our senses to their sweet voices. These wonderful conversations are a part of her everyday life.
With her camera she tries to capture their divine essence and illuminate their spirit to share what she sees and hears with all of us. When she is not photographing, some of her favorite moments are spent mentoring her beautiful daughter Claire, laughing with her family, working in her flower and herb gardens, and creating “cottage garden” flower arrangements.
